Richard Broughton (BGS 1970-1977) admits to accidentally breaking Geoff Stratford's nose in two places on the football pitch in a "coming together" of heads. His nose was smashed again a couple of weeks later by a football kicked by a hard hitting sixth former. Geoff found himself in hospital a week before Christmas having "the bits removed".
