Short Stories - The Old Bostonian (08/1999)

Richard Cross, the grandson of R W Ryder Cross, presented his grandfather's Parry Gold Medal (1901) to the Association on behalf of his family. The presentation took place at the 1999 OBA Dinner. In October 1998 Richard had presented to the school various books, mostly school prizes, which his grandfather had received during his years at BGS. The medal and books are now on display in the school library together with the Parry Medal story and George Bagley's 'Floreat Bostona'. (From The Old Bostonian, August 1999 edition)
