Quiz Night 2003

The OBA Quiz Night took place on 12th November 2003 at Graves Park, Kirton. Three spectators saw a record 10 teams of old boys, students and staff compete, with Richard Anderson, doing his usual excellent job as question master.

OBA Vice-Chairman, Godfrey Finn, presented the winners’ medals. Godfrey thanked Richard and his band of students for running the evening, and Paul Mould for his organisation.

The final was contested by two teams of old boys. The team placed second was Pete Swift, Paul Townshend and Richard Vinter (all BGS 1979-86), and Mark Bruntlett (BGS 1978-85). The winning team was made up of Barrie Gosling (BGS 1957), Nick Charlton (BGS 1982-89), Howard Charlton (BGS 1979-86) and Andy Boyer (BGS 1978-85).

Paul Mould expressed his pleasure at seeing young teams from school years 8 and 9, and from the 6th form.
