Day 2 - Friday 8th August

More boarding over the conservatory floor	We hope it will protect the tiles	The builders' compound is finished	It is now the full height of the room	They've had a look to see what's under the floorboards	The partitioning is even sealed to the walls, floor and ceiling
The joints are taped to reduce the dust	It's even fitted round the coving and dado rail	It dominates the room somewhat	It also makes the room a bit dark	The builders left sheets for us to cover things with	The ceanothus was a bit close to the conservatory
Poor ceanothus !	The clematis needed a haircut - it was even going up the roof	I hope I haven't killed it
